shant pentium d is dual core right? i think there a pc at the place i work with a pentium d inside, not sure if my boss will exchange it, since he wants to sell it as a whole pc
julien_saadeh I don't think that Core 2 Duo will work. It is not supported as per Intel's website. Yes, Pentium D is dual-core. I'm looking for 3.0GHz or higher.
julien_saadeh It seems that a Core Duo or Core 2 Duo might also work. There are some success stories over the Internet. As long as the FSB is 800MHz, it should boot up. I will choose the closest one to the specs. Any options? Thanks.
