hey lebgeeks i was wondering if this kind of laptops is good for light gaming and general use...

What will you use the laptop for ?? (Please when posting a thread like this always mention this so that we know what to recommend)

Also this laptop doesn't come with Windows and the ram is only up-gradable to 6GB so you can only add 2GB of ram and that's about it for upgrades.

You can get better deals from PCandParts.
Also most HP's tend to overheat so I don't recommend you to go for that brand.

this laptop would run most new games on low setting at an average of 20-25 fps, but i agree with avok95 you can get something better than hp and their serious overheating issues

Something with an i5 and a 540M/6630M would be preferable in your situation.
