iPad 2 3G service in Lebanon?

I want to bring my ipad from a american gsm carrier, is the ipad locked to only that carrier or will it work in lebanon?

If it is locked is their a way to unlock the ipad

did you buy your ipad with a contract? if not then no it is not locked.
plus I dont think ipad have contract. my brother and dad got an ipad 2 3g from apple store, works fine here.

Moustafa55, all 3G tablet modules work anywhere in the world. The sim used is not the same a cellphone sim. It uses the same concept as roaming ones, so yes, it will work anywhere. All you have to do is just crop the sim card at a cellphone store, set it up, and you're set to go.
