The Arduino Uno is a programmer/demo board, not the microcontroller itself. It's based on the microcontroller Atmega328. There's also the Arduino Duemilanov which is the latest edition of the Arduino programming/demo boards. It can program both the Atmega328 and the Atmega168 microcontrollers.
For more info about Arduino, visit their
website.
For a place to buy the Atmega microcontrollers, check out
Katranji on Jnah, next to ER gate of Hariri Governmental Hospital.
As for the programmer itself, you can either make one yourself, buy a ready made one from RS-Online (Tallet el Khayat, next the gas station, just along the road where cinema Concord is), or ask a member on Lebgeeks called J4D who makes them as well to etch you one.
