Just an advice: DON'T get the Nikon D3100: That's the worst SLR camera I have ever use!
If you are willing to buy a Nikon, for a little more money you can get the
Nikon D5100.
It rocks.
However if you want canon, I suggest you buy the
Canon EOS 500D why?
First because it's almost the same quality as the 550D and the 600D and it's cheaper.
Secondly there is an offer on getforless and i guess in Beirut Duty Free: For 1000$ you can get the 500D with two lens the 18-55 and 75-300, that's the
side by side review.
