Comodo AV for windows
Comodo Firewall has the worst reviews I'v read.
It's designed to be a Firewall in general and not an anti-virus.
There are many better programs that are free and do a better job than Comodo.
Like:
Microsoft Security Essentials
AVG Free 2012
Avast Home Edition 6
And if you want some strict security , you can try Avira Anti-Vir
All of these free anti-virus programs are found to perform better then Comodo in the anti-virus business and I'll be glad to give links to the reviews if anyone wants them.

have you actually tried it ? You cant really say comodo has a bad anti virus protection. Hence it will check each action executed by an exe (it even works with a hidden module injectors).and those avs will detect everything as a virus with a very basic detection method with a higher requirements. a review of comodo http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/comodo-antivirus.html the only con in comodo is that its not known
When it gives you a windows for you to allow the program to run doesn't make it good, it makes it annoying.
A firewall is good when it has a mind of its own and makes it's own decisions and only gives a window when it needs too.
Consumers don't like annoying software, in fact the less annoying it is the more happy they will be, that's why most computer companies use ESET NOD32 , because it's light and doesn't display a windows at all.

I think when it comes to AV software, it doesn't matter what's the best, it only matters what left a good impression on the user. The lousiest AV ever might rid you of a virus that another famous AV couldn't, and you stick with that AV forever. Just an example, not pointing out to anything in particular. With AV, as with many other kinds of software, people stick to what makes them feel at ease.
