It's a hot deal for this week.
Thanks, i'll place an order asap.
from my experience tp link is pretty much solid, maybe a bit bad on wifi signal but i haven't tried lynksis before so i don't know if the wifi of those have better signals or not, or maybe im just expecting too much out of routers to power up the whole house on 100% signal? yasamoka probably knows if im expecting overkill :P, but yeah, i do have problems with the router cutting the internet when there are heavy lightnings, maybe its because im using cat5 and its not grounded? no idea along with my screen, tv, and other equipment..they all malfunction for a few seconds, i think its due to i live near the sea in a valley on a hill at an open area ? emp im guessing, as for software on tp link routers, i didn't find it complete noob proof, but it seems to be user friendly and works as it should...well at least the basic stuff that i tried

edit:the tutorial on the sodetel website tells you to set wifi security as WEP, seriously?

Just keep up with well-known solid brands like D-Link, Linksys, Netgear and regarding Wifi signal speed and coverage, you should consider Wireless N technology, Not G.

The Linksys x3000 is a wireless N router.
waelt wrotei recently bought the linksys Wag120N but having problem setting it up , im a cyberia subscriber , it dosent connect to the dsl server or if it does it drops after a couple of minutes, anybody had a similar problem ?
1-Try to update its firmware version. Check if it includes automatic update within it or manually but you have to be careful of its Revision Version and etc... as you might know any incorrect firmware upgrade may brick and render the router unusable.

2-Even though it maybe irrelated, but try to: Disbale DHCP Server then reconnect the ADSL connection. If the problems is gone then Enable the DHCP Server back and see if it goes stable...
