There's a website I managed to find that was
http://htclebanon.com/ it apparently offers a wide variety of phones and htc one's for a low price I was wandering if it is legit because it was cheap
tigerheart-hackers
The website belongs to a computer company in Dora, can't remember the name. They are the official distributors of HTC in Lebanon, but they do not play by the rules. In fact, they are the reason why HTC isn't that popular in Lebanon anymore. They don't get all genuine merchandise, and their after support sucks.

I think it's MicroAge ?
geekevo
Then I think I will stick with amhaz and apparently they increased the price off their phones today instead of making them cheaper it stinks of rip-off
tigerheart-hackers
Yeah, that's it, MicroAge! You know, we're yet to find someplace that offers normal prices with actual warranties.
AvoK95
There is no such thing as an "actual warrenty" in Lebanon , I can tell you that
tigerheart-hackers
Sure there is. Take for example Khoury Home. They overprice everything, but they never ask questions. You can even replace something there simply because you didn't like it. There are other stores as well, but we don't want to be posting ads here.

You're right.
But they do that because they sell almost 2x the price of what the product costs

Why do this "HTC" Lebanon website have lots of non HTC phones like Samsung,Blackberry and Sony ericsson ?
geekevo
They really don't sound so legit I don't think anyone here should risk it guys stick to amhaz and co
Flakk
I don't think this website is related to Microage at all.

I contacted HTCLebanon like a month ago asking them why they don't have an address for customers to go and check the products, and why prices are a bit low considering other resellers?
They replied by telling me :
"We don't have any local stores, we are strictly an online company, you can buy it online using a credit card and within a few days it will be delivered to your home or workplace by local mail company.
Our prices are very low for the reason that we don't have to pay for a showroom or store fees."
So that's the deal.
And MICROAGE! Wtf?
i called them asking for the "HTC Sensation XL" price; they told me it's 900$. HTclebanon offers it at a price of approx. 540$
I Personally think MICROAGE is a scam, because in Lebanon u never benefit from the warranty :)
I ended up getting it from Dubai, a relative of mine got it for about 700$ with some accessories. (Kaspersky Anti Virus Pre Installed "costs 9.80$ on the market", and a car charger)
geekevo
700$? too much amhaz selling for 530$.
HooZ
Yes I know but he sells it with no warranty.
It's a gift, so who gives a shit about the price :p
I would of paid even more for this phone It's just perfect
the 4.7 inch screen does the job ;)

Guys, I cant seem to buy anything from there, any ideas?

My uncle bought an HTC One V from Microage, they kept telling him that amhaz phones are fake and that they take off accessories from the box.
Well his microage One V came without the earphone, they claimed it doesn't come with while all reviews said yes.
He got a yellow spot on the screen
The screen rotation sensors are dead.
The gallery pics and music were deleted meaning a full reset was made prior the sale.
So they took out earphones from the box and they sold him a refurbished One V for the price of 500$ while it cost 280$ at Amhaz!
I told my uncle to ask for a brand new One V this time to see if they respect their 220$ warranty...

I completely agree, Microage sucks. And about Amhaz, he will never mind if you tell him "I want to test the phone for 10 minutes". This is what I do every time I buy an HTC from him.
maba723
From what I hear, Amhaz does not replace items from the box(HTC, don't know about the rest) because HTC is not really popular in Lebanon unlike Blackberry, Nokia etc..
vegetaleb
HTC is popular among Android users which should get bigger.
I know Amhaz doesn't play aor change anything in their boxes because they simply don't have time to do it with the thousands of phones they receive every day, change in package can be the result of country or area origin, for exemple Asian countries usually put smaller included SD cards, that's why you can end up with 4GB instead of 8 on DHD or Sensation...

Guyz, does Microage=htclebanon?
Second, I tried buying from there, there is no BUY button in the cart section. Any idea? (please try it and give me feedback)
thanks!
