i was updating my n8 through pc and when update download finished and started to install my laptop shutdown (blue screen first time ever) and my phone wouldn't turn on. Any suggestions plz help.
throw it from the window and buy an android.... won't fail you!
Look up reflashing it using a software called Phoenix and use a dead phone mode.

Do some research and you should find a solution.

I think interrupting a firmware update on any device ( PC/Router/Phone/optical drive etc.. ) will cause a malfuction.. don't you think ? It's obvious that the crash happened on the PC and not on the phone itself;

Anyway good advice... but I wonder if you'd have done the same thing.
