Reading the top comment on that video while listening to the music gave me the chills:

Whenever I hear this song. I remember the days where video games werent about graphics or shooting stuff. It was about many things. Having fun, enjoying the gameplay, the music, the characters, and the story of the game. I wish video games these days didn't have to rely on graphics to the point of being almost real. I'm not agaisnt video games of today(some of them have been good) It just saddens me that most gamers these days think its all about the graphics that make the game.
Funny, when FF7 came out 15 years ago, it was highly acclaimed for its outstanding graphics. The year is 1997, the console: the recently-released Sony PlayStation. Looking at a 3D Cloud Strife running away from Shinra on his cool bike, yielding his giant sword.

A lot of earlier (hardcore) fans were saying the exact same thing about it: Pretty graphics but no gameplay. To this day they claim FF6 was the last good piece of the series, and 7 marks the decline of fun/gameplay in favor of shiny graphics.

In any case, let's not hijack this thread. If anyone wants to continue the discussion about graphics vs gameplay (relative to FF series, or other games) they open a new thread where we could talk more freely.
fallout 3 in game music is freakin awesome! i never listened to old style music before but when i did in fallout3 i just got hooked.
well , most role playing games have great music e.g. witcher 2 , mass effect 1 & 2 , dragon age 1 & 2, TES 4 & 5.
Fallout music is kinda nice, but it doesn't have the epic feeling of other RPG
