Hello cprog, and welcome to the forum.
The question in its actual form is unacceptable and cannot be answered on the forum. I suggest you read
these guidelines on how to ask questions in the Programming section.
In case you're asking us to do your homework for you, we won't.
In case you're asking us to help you with this exercise, show us some code first.
In case you're thinking of doing this for a project, don't. It's a terrible idea. There are better ways for processes to communicate. Sharing data across N processes is a perfect recepie for debugging disaster.
If you don't know where or how to start, I wrote a
short introduction on Unix processes a while ago. It will teach you how to use
fork()
If you're familiar with processes, you could look up the
shmget() function. It will create shared memory segments.
If you don't want to bother reading a man page, here's a
nice tutorial.
In any case, I'm locking the topic because it's against the current policy. I gave you all the info you need. If you want further assistance, you have to open a new thread that will be more conforming to the guidelines. And of course, show us some code :)
