yasamoka wroteThe 560Ti is going to be replaced in less than a month's time by the GTX660Ti, promised to be released in August.

On the other hand, AMD's midrange cards such as the 7850 and 7870 are faster than the 560Ti and draw less power (the 7870 competes with the GTX580).

The 7850 can often be overclocked from 860MHz core clock to 1200MHz, making it around as fast as a stock 7950, beating the GTX580.
the price difference between the 7850 and 7870 is about 100$,so overclocking the 7850 is a good deal
and I'm not willing to wait longer for the 660Ti

I liked the vga&psu
why not up your cpu a lil bit
3.1 GHz - i5-3450 maybe, you will be using the new generation with far more power for 197+20=217$
217-126=91$ for 91$ extra
okay then vga and psu on the list
I was aiming for the i5 but due to the budget I had to cut it out of the list, although I'm thinking of getting a 500Gb HD and get the i5
I also asked ROG for some MoBo's and they recommended me the Asus P8Z77-V LX so I'll get it (240$)
guys I really need a used i5,anyone can help? (LGA 1155)
My build is done I just need a processor i3 is low end,i5 is off my budget.
I'm afraid of getting the i3 since lots of reviewers said that BF3 (and possibly future games) needs a quad core processor.
No game needs 4cores, SOME need 4 threads. The i3 has two cores but 4 threads , which is good for any game out there.
I personally had an i3 540 (Older than Sandy Bridge) it ran any game I threw at it , including Battlefield 3 and Crysis two with my GTX 560Ti.
Don't underestimate the power of i3s , they are awesome for budget game rigs.
I guess I'll just go with the i3 and maybe upgrade to an i5 in the future..
