Sorry for posting the topic in the Programming forum, but i didn't find a "Career Path" forum.
If you are a technical guy with an MBA please share your experience.
I know that an MBA will not be useful unless you have good experience and your planning to go into management.
Well i don't think i have enough experience and far from going into management. But i have a chance to get an MBA from LAU by completing only 10 courses and paying just for 5!. Is it worth doing it?
Did an MBA boost your career in anyway? did you learn anything useful?

About me:

Education is always a positive thing, my advice is, do it while you can. (And you seem to be getting an insane deal)
1) MBA at LAU is 13 Course (if you planing on not doing a thesis; if you are then it is 11)
2) if you took economics, accounting courses when you were and undergraduate, then you dont have to take the extra zero credit courses.

but what i dont get is that you have a MIS Management Information System, isnt that in the Business Department? (if so then you already have an understanding of the Business Concept and Technological Benefit of applying it Data World).

I did it in LAU, I benefited from creating a social Network with other colleagues; Though sometimes I wish i did my MBA in AUB mainly cause majority of the courses i took in LAU, where similar to my undergraduate studies in AUB. However, The MBA course were able to Enforce my current Knowledge.

so its better to do it, it will always look better to have in your resume, plus it would open alot of doors
