  • Flashing XBOX360 to play AP2.5 games

Hi ,

I'm currently living outside lebanon and i bought my 360 in october 2010 flashed from a shop in lebanon .
I have some knowledge in hardware ( flashing ... ) but due to my work i don't have enough time to dedicate for a new flash . I never go online with my 360 .I read that some new games have a new security ap2.5 and you need to update to ixtreme firmawre to LT2.0 or above to be able to play . I bought lots of games and some don't work ( black oops , halo... ) . Since nobody can flash it for me here ( i'm living in africa ) will somebody help me and tell me the steps i should follow ? some tutorials ... i have the dashboard 2.0.145 if i'm not mistaken .

thnks
Flashing = JTAG ?

Serial journey... ;)
LT2.0+ *

Supports new XGD3 formats of discs - and includes fixed Ap2.5 and newer 2.6 challenges

THIS IS ALL YOU'LL EVER NEED. The guide is comprehensive and detailed; if you can't follow it i really don't know what you can then

Best of luck

(can't post any others, they have Warez)

Jtag isn't possible if you exceed some firmware (forgot which exactly) but its one of the many NXE dashboard title updates (i can't recall which, but a quick google should answer this question, yet considering the fact that he tried to play these said new games and they stopped working means that he has definately updated to one of the latest 360 dashboards)

The evolution (as far as i know) is :

Pre-NXE
NXE
NXE-Kinect
New one released recently (it has this windows 8 style) forgot its name. to be honest.

Then again this doesn't really matter as of now

Anyway back to the point:

Dashboard is irrelevant really at this point, flashing doesn't consist of Dashboard dependence really, since you flash the DVD drive of the console, not the whole console itself - in other words it will require some work and hardware

Again your best bet is just reading the guide - you can probably find all you need in Africa - if not then jsut support the game developers and buy the official games - they work even with a flashed console regardless of which DVD drive firmware your flashed to (Ixtreme or LT) - then again buying games would probably be also out of the question .
