I live in aitat, a suburb of aley, and unfortunately the new dsl speeds are unavailable here because the infrastructure is weak. My father knows a couple of ogero engineers, and they said that ogero is planning on improving the telephone lines in the area. However, this is Lebanon, so who knows how long thatll take. For the time being, we have wireless broadband from and illegal ISP that uses satellite for download, so the ping is absolutely horrible (1000+ at times.) I've been looking for alternatives, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the legal wireless providers. Ifly has the best deal (2mbps with a 12gb quota for $60), but I'm not sure if it's available here. I do know that mobi and wigo would definitely get signal here, but wigo has a lower quota and mobi has a higher price. Can anybody shed some light on any of these? Please note that were currently paying $100 a month for a 512 connection that's actually more like 300 in reality.
