@ Nemesis: Efficiency is not clculated like that at all, a psu will give its rated power or peak power but will draw from your wall socket X and 100- (efficiency). If your system needs 500w and u have 80% efficiency = 600w drawn from your wall socket, aka your elec bill :P.
Anyway, bad choice of motherboard and cpu, i suggest either an i5 2500k or i7 2600k. Motherboard wise, depends on your needs, but i suggest getting a z68 based motherboard, prefarebly not intel.
Psu wise, i suggest getting an 750w/850w xfx psu, it will be enough. Also i stay away from evga as gtx 580, its reference, so it will have high temps and high-er noise levels.
Get a non-reference gtx 580, msi lightning or asus dcu II, get an asus mobo z68 v or z68 v- pro (depends on your needs expansion wise, sli/xfire or not, and overclocking) an i5 2500k or i7 2600k.
