Well it seems with the "let's call it" x8 increase in internet speeds, the QoS we receive is the same, with packet loss and high latency....
I tested my ping on pingtest.net now before the rush hour begins at 8PM until 11-12PM. And since I'm an Ogero subscriber, so no I download freaks draining every drip of the blood of the internet in the free download period, so the quality is almost the same later at night, and better after 12-1AM. So now the result is this :
It may go up 100 maybe up to 200ms in Saturday and Sunday nights..... But here what bugs me, I've read more than twice or maybe more on this forum, that the latency to the central is 70-80ms, so o.O!!! If I'm getting 95ms with German ping-test host servers, and 110ms with British ones, so the real latency through IMEWE is just 20-30ms, so why the MoT isn't doing anything about this, why they wont improve the quality of the cables to bring the internal latency down to 10-20ms, or at least reduces it by 50%, WHY?!!!! So we can get a normal right of having a 50ms latency.
I wish they wont mix one day between latency and speed, and we see LBC showing: "Loa... Ding Dong merilly on high, our ping is up to 8 times higher... Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" :-(
