So I'm in BT2 this year and I got 2 years to figure out what to do.
So, what do you think I should major in?
I'm very good with hardware , have very little experience with programming (I use the web to write scripts)
I love working, fixing, building PC-s.
I don't like a lot of programming.
I don't know any calculus , I know some physics ,I'm good with welding, and very good at hardware diagnosing and also I know some networking.
So what do you think I can major in to be able to open up a company in the future, and also being able to find a good job somewhere

Whatever you decide, make sure it is something you love doing. This is the main criteria to be good in anything you do!!!
Just to give you a live example. I used to love drawing, I messed up with Maya and Photoshop even before University times, however, since I wasn't well aware of Graphic Design, I ended up doing Computer Science. Now after finishing my Masters degree in Computer Science, and spending my work time programming, I regret every minute wasted on something I don't like. It is very much difficult to further progress/train when you don't like what you do. So think it carefully. :)
To answer your question, Computer Engineer is the closest to what you specified.

Two words : Information Technology a.k.a IT xD

Well, someone with the A+ certification would fill that position easily, however doing Computer Engineering could open up for further advancements. Right?

the computer world is huge . stick to a certain topic and excell in it , per ex i had someone come over and weld or connect 2 fiber optic cables..he used a small machine , spent fifteen minutes and charged me for 100 $ .
Stick to whatever you want..you are not supposed to love it..it is your job .. but be the master of it .

I also think that loving what you do is a must. I mean money and opportunities will come only if you like what you are doing. that's the most important thing of all.

That's the stupidest thing someone could ever say. Don't take it personal Tarek, but it's obvious that you do not know what you're talking about. You cannot master what you do not love. I've listened to several success stories over the past few months, all of them were so passionate about what they do. That is what distinguished them from those just go to work because they have some bills to pay.
I personally love what I do (develop software) and the best part of it is that I do not feel like I'm "working". I just feel like I am "doing what I love to do". I do not mind spending a few hours at the office after 5:30PM and I do not mind bringing work home. Why? Because I just love to write code! I strongly believe that unless you have this attitude, there's a very tiny chance that you're going to be one of those who will get to talk about their success story once they've retired.
Tarek
yeah yeah ..the whole "love and romance " story .. you can be whatever you want ... if you love what you do you will be amazing..every kid will be the president ..it is called work for a reason ..i didnt say you must hate it ...but it does not need such passion to be successfull ... i dt care abt my job and im doing pretty well .
babum
yet it is not about what you can attain now, but rather what are your possibilities. A person will enhance his knowledge of something he likes much better than he would with something he does not like.

Kassem got it 10000% right, no one can add or argue with what he said. End of the story.

So I'm thinking about doing Computer Engineering, anybody know any calculus ?

I changed my mind , IT for the win :)
Tarek
IT without additional certificates is nothing ..try getting some microsoft , cisco , novell , etc certificates..

i agree, you have to love your work in order to succeed in it, if you're gonna be an employee in lebanon i guess anything would work, but if you're gonna design something, work for a big company, travel outside, you MUST love your work, you cannot simply work something you don't like everyday of the ween when you don't enjoy it
