Hello everyone, Well it's good to be back to the forums after a while.
Anyway, Recently I've been dealing with connection issues around my house because of weak wireless signal, so I though of getting a wireless repeater and connect it "wireless-ly" to the original wireless router from the dining room (where the signal is excellent) to achieve good wireless coverage around the place. However, After setting the repeater to the required settings, I had to choose the router SID, I chose mine "PlaceMax", but no password was prompted, and after connecting to the Edimax repeater, I wasn't able to access the internet... Is anyone familiar with repeaters? and what should I do to fix this problem? Shouldn't a password be prompted to get access to the original router?
I've been told that connecting it via an Ethernet cable to the original router would fix the problem, but that's not an option, and before buying the repeater from multimedia megastore, I got a positive reply about its ability to connect "wireless-ly" to the original router...
