kdawg4-956 Hey guys, Does anyone know where I can buy a Samsung galaxy tab, the 7 inch one or the 8.9 inch one WIFI only if possible, in Lebanon?
Kassem Sami27 wroteI got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 16GB 3G from Stars Communications for 550$ How's your experience with the tab so far? Any noticeable issues?
lorcan32 I just bought the galaxy tab 10.1 16 gb /3g in UAE I love love love it Its battery life is very nice, honeycomb runs well and it will also get an over the air upgrade to ice cream sandwich. The only thing i can say about it that there are only circa 600-700 apps optimized for tablets but most mobile apps on the app store run very smoothly and with very decent res anyway.. The camera and dual processor are also very nice. LASTLY it is soo freking light , you can hold it in your hands for extended periods of time :) Its reselution beats that of the ipad2 and is very nice and has the capability of playing HD movies comfortabley. Its dual speakers give good quality sound and pretty cool bass Its extend able memory capability allows you to extend it to up to 64 gb via USB stick or Micro-sd card All in all one of the best purchases i have made..
Sami27 Absolutely amazing. 1280x800 16:10 10.1" PLS display is extremely vibrant and has great viewing angles, felt like I was looking at faded, washed-out colors on my HP laptop compared to the Tab. Gorilla Glass, 1GB RAM, 1Ghz A9 Dual Core, 0.5KG, as thin as a pencil, a very responsive capacitive touch screen, 9 hour real-time battery life. Honeycomb is an open and customizable operating system but I haven't been able to update it through the tablet or when connected to the PC which isn't a problem since the update isn't major. No need to root it to install cracked apps. Only possible draw back is lack of tablet applications and games compared to Apple's app store, but still a huge selection nonetheless. 9.5/10 due to inability to upgrade software, should be resolved by rooting. If you are considering buying a tablet (or a phone or a laptop), I'd recommend the Tab instead of anything (especially the iPad 2)
