"A 30-qubit quantum computer would have around the same processing power as a conventional computer processing commands at 10 teraflops per second. By way of contrast, current desktop computers operate at mere gigaflops-per-second speeds."

who needs traditional computers?
I would like to point out that most approximations of current computing power take into account only specific types of workloads, usually CPU horsepower too. GPU horsepower has already broken the 1 TeraFLOPS barrier since 2008, with the introduction of the GeForce GTX 280, which was 933GFLOPS, and the Radeon HD 4870, which was already a bit over 1TFLOPS. AMD's new series break the 2.7TFOPS per GPU, I think.
come on guys, you are missing out a lot of things, intel recently announced 3D transistors, remember that? another thing is that they are going to replace transistors with another element (forgot name) which provides HUGE boost in speed and MUCH more less HEAT, the future is still bright! also, quantom computing!
Graphene? It has its own share of problems. It cannot turn fully off like silicon transistors do, can tolerate really high temps though, it has much better uses in radio devices it seems, dunno for computing...
its still not ready to put into processors, but they are researching about it and want to use it, i say in the next few years transistors are gonna be a thing in history
