I don't know if I'm not patient enough or simply not good enough, but Javascript is definitely too much for me. In the past, every time I needed client-side scripting I relied on jQuery (side note,
version 1.7 is out today).
Javascript is just too much, especially their flirting with stuff like anonymous functions and closures (not to mention that something like
Multi-level prototype hierarchies is absolute gibberish to me).
Also dealing with the DOM is always a pleasure. (Not!) Which makes me think about
node.js. Has anyone ever tried it really? What did you think?
@saeidw: CoffeeScript looks sexy. In a way, its syntax reminds of Python. Maybe I'll look more into it. One day ...
