Scheme is really beautiful and simple. Good choice, rolf. The main thing I took away from it is that you can think of programming as building a language that can sufficiently describe your problem, enabling you to solve it. SICP mostly revolves around this idea.
I'm now discovering that Javascript and Scheme (well, Lisps in general) have a lot in common. People have described it as a Lisp with C syntax. See: The
