So I have this problem that I can’t solve!

I had a windows live account in the past, but unfortunately I forgot my password and couldn’t sign in for more than 6 months so WL team deactivated it. Which means this account is not mine anymore it’s available for anyone.

But now after like 2 years, someone signed up with an e-mail that have the same address as my old account, (okay I'm cool with that) but after a while I found out that this person is claiming to be me, he’s using my name and my picture. (I know what a story)
The weird thing is that I don’t know that person, he just came from nowhere! Like all of you trolls/spammers/hackers whatever! JUST GET A LIFE ALREADY
I believe I know his facebook account, and after some research I was able to identify 2 of his personal e-mails.
I have tried almost everything (I sent a password request, didn’t work obviously)
Contacted WL team to recover this account but unfortunately I need this e-mail personal information, which I don’t have anymore.
Tried to report it.. but nothing
What should I do.. is there a way that I did not think of? I need this account deactivated immediately.
I don't think you can do anything besides telling all your friends and anyone who could be concerned that someone is impersonating you with that email address.
Make sure he can't get any of your passwords or get access to anything else - in case this email is set up to receive password reset requests for other accounts...
Impersonation is punishable by Law... but, in Lebanon? ... pff...
You should not be worried except in 2 cases: You're either a secret agent for some sort of an unknown organization, or you're a very famous celebrity. *Joke*

Try on of these:
- Contact him in person !? You must have a friend with sexy profile pics on FB right ? ;)
- Follow rolf's suggestion regarding password reset requests.
- Tell your friends to report him to Windows Live Team. More reports will definitely lead to a deactivation.
- Or simply ignore him.

And btw, he's not a hacker. It's your fault. You left the account inactive.
deactivating your account means completely deleting it, the other person created a new account, he did not get access to your old account, its just a new one with the same name, so don't worry, just report him that hes pretending to be you, he does not have access to your files..UNLESS the account was still active and someone stole your password, try resetting password, you must remember your security question and answer? they are easy to remember
6 days later
Hmmm i think you should play it dirty, i would say you create a phishing homail page, (use any free hosting site like 110mb.com, and download the script from any site, just google it)
Then you use pharming technique, which consists on forcing the victim to log on to your site using his own username and password; then you will have those two listed in a file in your website's main directory, then you could get your account back if he signed in using the account which used to be yours, and if he signed in using his personnal email, oblige him to give you back your account in order to get his!
