  • Battlefield 3 banned in syria!

1)SCC dont have the PC copy yet, I made sure of that now. They told me maybe tonight...
2)PCandParts don't know if it's a CD-Key, I emailed them, they answered they'll know at the release date!! I think it's today right?
3)SCC copy uses installshield (or setupshield) dont remember the name of it, the blue installer anyway. That don't ask for the CD-Key, and directly install the cracked game, I'll look for SACC or Sham future copy when buying the CD-Key.
4)I know it's been disscused before, but I need the names of people here who can order from Amazon for me.
i know a store which does not buy from scc.
he downloads the game from Reloaded or skidrow or razor.
thats basically what scc does, i got deus ex from scc and in the so called crack folder it was named skidrow...lol
so im not worried there

Well in my opinion that's a misleading term since it can confuse the reader between the noun(which is more commonly used). example: "do not share links", "what's the link?" and the verb

I would suggest a more precise&concrete definition to be used, such as "links and discussions on Warez are NOT allowed on public forms."

tried the beta - wasn't really my taste (multiplayer wise) and im not going to blow 60$ for just the single player. I can probably download this anyway in like 2 or 3 nights if i really wanted it - and now that someone mentioned it has Leb-Syria conflicts i MUST play it :P

Side question: Guru3d have the 285.62 driver near 100MB, while nvidia.com have it at 188MB, why? I downloaded the 188 now, good decision or waste of quota?

I downloaded the 285.62 drivers off Nvidia's site - it's about 148MB. I'm not sure what are you talking about.

Also this topic shouldn't exist because Syria doesn't even believe in legit software in the first place, let alone to ban a product. That's hilarious :P
Anybody knows when will Virgin or some place similar get the original DVD to lebanon ? Or do I have to DL the game online, cause with the new internet speeds, it feels good to say I CAN xD
Never mind MegaCool, the 100MB was for Windows XP, and 188MB for Win7 64bit.

But anyone tried to enter a CD-Key on Origin for a cracked game? Does this work?

It should work but be sure to delete the main executor (that way Origin will download the missing files + updates).

No, the game wont work with those of the 2500L.L. by the Syrian Companies, you need to get a European Release of the copy, or US, such as Skidrow or Reloaded Group.
But yes, using the key with the above, will make the game playable online. Simply because the Syrian Versions dont give you the option to use or enter a CD Key.

Yes, they key at PCandParts can be activated on Origin.

Simply they give you the key, & you redeem it in Origin. You will then be able to access the game & play it online.

if you install the game with an invalid key, you will have to uninstall it 1st, & then use the Legal key to play it online.
Or you can that gamecopyworld release a multiplayer patch ;)

On topic: I got a single copy of the game, before mods delete its the original installer. Its 1 singl and 1 dual layer dvds. Before installing, origin asks for they key. So i must wait till 28 till origin send me the key.

I didnt buy the game, my friend did but he will "lend" me his key and accunt on origin so we can try to play online and see what happens. We are both terranet, but i am "1mb" 10g quota (although its 256k as speed for now). Whereas he is 2mb 20g, and he truley is 2mbs. So i want to see what happens. If anything ill be transferring to sodetel, as they are cheaper if you are zone 2, isp, which i am...

Like everyone, or at least like everyone should be, I have been waiting for this game forever. Yesterday I ran to virgin and the people who worked there only knew about call of duty -.- Then I ran to the local store where they didn't have it. went home crying... today I called virgin, still no news except it might be there around the 9th because call of duty was there on the 9th... Tears started forming, called SCC and they had it!

Action plan, run to SCC buy BF3, go on origins get a cd key with credit card and play. I am currently installing it but I just read in this thread that you can't put a cd key on this version of the game because it doesnt ask you for one. I am hoping this is wrong and I'll confirm that I am crying when it has finished installing.

On another note : On BF2 i have a 100-120 ping with wise dsl 256 which seems like an achievement from all I've read on this forum. Can't wait for upgrade... I was asking for 512 but they told me everyone is gettin 1mb "when ogero upgrades their systems" which is worrying.

Anyways, if I can't put in a cd key not sure what to do. I have the option of downloading it knowing in my area I don't get unlimited at night and my dl speed is around 20kb/s or I can wait till saturday when some people I know are coming from France and I can ask them to buy me a copy, hoping it won't be in french.

And yes i am sure that the original installer asks you befor it installs. I am not sure about scc's installer. But no hope is lost after all its just 2000 LL. But the wait is more painfull :/.

Thats why i am waiting for the key to be at my disposal, install the game and try online and see my ping. If its good, then am satisfied. If not then me is madz.
