I recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to the new iOS, and I was trying to use its new features; iMessage, etc..
I never used facetime on my iPhone, and I was afraid it will cost me.
I called the alfa service, they said they know nothing about iMessage or Facetime charging, actually, They knew nothing about facetime or iMessage at all!
So I tried to send an iMessage, they charged me for 9 cents .. Then I sent another iMessage, and it was for free; no charge.
Then I tried using facetime, I turned on airplane mode to make sure that there will be no cost, and my mom turned on ariplane mode.. We left Wi-Fi on. She called me, and like we had a 7 mins video call, and I was delighted that it's gonna be for free. When I turned off airplane mode, I checked into my credit to find that ~21 cents are out.
Does anyone know if facetime or iMessage charge in Lebanon?
And does anyone facing some issues with winterboard? Although I downloaded the iOS 5 fix.. The applications name disappeared. However, does anyone know when the untethered jailbreak could be out?
I will be studying now ( I've terminal to do this year) and closing the sites..

Speaking of imessage i cant find the mic to dictate my message i have already ios5 or that feature is reserved for the 4S only?
iMessage works on iOS 5 for iPhone 4, 3GS, 4S and iPods!
Go to settings>messages>iMessage (put the toggle on).
You could loose 18 cents from your balance just for the activation.
Open the messages application, when sending the message to a contact with iMessage, it will show you the "send" button in blue. Or you can add a contact's email so you can send him the iMessage to his email using the message, but it will be sent to his messages!

I still didnt get an answer about how to dictate my message. But does the imessage servIce require wifi or internet??
