what is Sodetel DSP?
DSP is Data Service Provider, instead of OGERO he is using Sodetel, as such they can give him the offer. DSP is installed on certain COs not in all COs for example, they can provide open night in Mazraa CO but in Khalde they cannot! DSP and ISP are two different things!

that's why they give unlimited at night and ogero don't give?
I requested 4m/15gb for only 43$ (incliding VAT) Wow

you are happy with sodetel ? there is no problem on the connection?
I got a message from Sodetel last night, saying I will be upgraded to the 4 Mbps/15 Gb package on the 1st of November (I had the 256 Kbps-Unlimited package)
I really hope the latency will be improved as well !

Yeah that is why! They will provide you with the unlimited night from their quota, and they want to be competitive.

from were they get this DSP Sodetel?
Razorback wrote@thegodfatherdany, Yes!
Just one more question
when i download between these periods of time, does the download or upload in my Dsl Sodetel account increase ? I constantly check my quota consumption in my account.
@thegodfatherdany, It's not suppose to increase...

I Am very happy with sodetel they are giving me the best connection for only 40$ only
I was at my cousin's house yesterday they have Sodetel too, the 2 Mbps account I entered their modem and noticed that the bandwidth rate on it is:
Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps):	509
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps):	2047
While my 4 Mbps is:
Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps):	509
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps):	4095
Isn't the 4 Mbps supposed to have a higher upload speed ? and isnt the upload speed according to the decree 20% of the down speed ? any other 4Mbps user can confirm this too ?
Whare did you get these results ??
4M is supposed to have 1M upload speed
Open your modem web gui, in your browser type http://192.168.1.254 (Thomson modems) or http://192.168.1.1 (Most other models).
Here is an example of pic from the internet about a Thomson modem:

Notice in the third line in the Bandwith (UP/DOWN) this represents the maximum speed you can get (Set by the DSP).

In other models you can find it under the name of:
Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): 509
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 4095
4 Mbps download speed is supposed to have an upload speed of 1 Mbps...
I checked mine and it says:
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 509 / 3.956
So, you're not the only one, ALY !
