@User share us your speedtest result for once. If you may :)

slower than usual :P the regular latency is 20 to 30 ms better than this

but hey as emergencies go this is good
need feedback from the people with the 1mb fixed ip accounts , i need to know if its worthit paying 50$/month or not
I can tell you I am on a regular 2 mb account and it has been a stable 100 ms for a month(minus the outage)

if this holds for me another month then you are wasting money :P I pay 32$ a month
as far as i know the only reason we have been getting the good pings ,is because sodetel are on a backup satellite server , when the problem is fixed with ogero the 450+ms pings will be back this info is according to the head technical guy in sodetel.
Hello guys, I'm having a problem: My internet is not stable at all.

Like a minimum of 10 times a day, the internet stops working, couple of lights go off, then it goes back to normal after like one minute. It's really annoying because I play online games, and I get disconnected too often.
Any advice how to fix the problem?
I don't think it's happening because the modem is warm, I did check the logs and it wasn't caused to the warmness.
it is complete shit pings are 500 ms and speeds are unbelieavebly slow this just happened a couple of mins ago. before that its completely normal and stable
romel wroteneed feedback from the people with the 1mb fixed ip accounts , i need to know if its worthit paying 50$/month or not
Just 30 minutes ago Sodetel is back to complete crap. On fixed IP account: 650ms, can't open a lot of pages, can't run a test on speedtest.

Edit: I think i'm back on dial up

Sodetel Is back to satellite link through Russia!

Edit: Most of the rest ISPs are still through Cyprus via redundant link

Now the question is why, thought the problem was "resolved", or are they saving every bit of fiber optic bandwidth for corporations.

Well what is known through the Fiber Optical Link Map, Traffic over the IMEWE (3.84Tbps) could not be all transferred over a 5Gbps or over CADMOS cable. Basically they will use satellite link to compensate the shortage of bandwidth.

Try reconnecting to get an IP that is routed over fiber link.
Already have my connection back, 100ms and all, reconnecting doesn't change my IP since mine is fixed, i'm reintroduced to the fiber link as soon as it is possible.

Please provide me with your IP address with the following Format:
89.108.128.0
Replace the last decimal with zero just to know the block and know which blocks are over satellite and which are over fiber
thank you
