Asho: Looks like someones ready for an upgrade :P.
GLWS i know that motherboard is the bomb.
Prise wise its "okay", a little bit high though. I know you paid dearly for it back in the days, but alot of the parts are really old (not that they still dont rock).

to be fair for him i have to say that some of the hardware he's selling is wanted a lot and nearly unfindable at stores , but on the other hand there are somethings that are priced really high like the GT220 for 50$ , i can get a new one for 45$
Beej
To me the psu and 5870 are overpriced...
TheStunMan
ill start with the processor, if this is a bid as the title says:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 Ghz 6MB Cache - 30$
Edit: Your bidding on the whole desktop oh my!!, sorry i'm not interested...
Asho
I clearly want to sell it complete.....
Selling a piece or two will not help for a new system. lol
Right Beej ;-)
But believe me, it overclocks like hell and till this moment it plays all games in the highest settings...
cybergod
Asho you are overstating prices quit well, i can get new parts with better performance for about 900$ thats new not used, so consider repricing your stuff
Asho
CyberGod, i Dropped it to 750$ after it has been priced by pcandparts.
You can go there and see it under buy and sell used pcs section.
Oh i added a win7 Home premium full license to the package as well and i don'i agree with you about buying
a better desktop with 900$.
The case, PSU, Monitor, Video card, Headset are still very good for now and any future system.
Beej
For 900$ it might not have the same quality motherboard or ram, but yes its doable with 900$ and it will be faster than this.
But keep it priced like that for a few days, and drop it even more. And no need to sell the headset and periferals, keep them for YOUR future pc. Just sell the case for 400$-450$ and your good to go.
Also you might attract buyers of you tell us what stepping your e8400 is...
Asho
Well i tried building a system on scratch with the prices... you will step over the 300$ just for any Mobo and i5 cpu
The i3 is not faster than this i believe...
Its D0 Stepping Stable at 4.2 GHZ ;-)
Beej
i3 is faster ;). But you can do it with an i5 and still be below the price point. Now i dont have anything against you. But i like to prove to all the people who say " i have to pay 1000-2000$ for a pc to play SOME game..etc"...
Also there is a difference between: "i can build a pc with 900$ faster than yours" and "i want to build a pc that fits my needs, as ooverclocking and tweaking..etc". The 1st can be done, the later well you cant ;).
Asho
Exactly... But i saw some benchmarks where shows the E8400 excels over the i3.
Anyways what i meant is if you wanna through any mid range parts with a "good" graphics card for gameplay you will definitely cross 450$ for Mobo, Cpu, Ram and the card. You still have the case, psu, monitor etc etc...
rolf
Sell it part by part. Nobody wants to buy a gaming PC that is several years old. But if you sell them separately, some parts can go into new gaming PCs, and other parts can be sold to people looking for cheap parts for a low-performance PC.
Asho
Ok guys
Assembled the whole thing together and get some benchmarks would like to post!!!
But it seems like i cant post here or i dont know how?
Helppp

yeah its faster then a 2.4ghz i3, but slower then a 2.5ghz i3,
link
Asho
Then pentium dual core E6800 is faster than both @ 3.33 Ghz!!!
Anyways the system is overclockable and will beat both of them at 4.2 GHZ
