My ISP is IDM and my current firmware is 7.4.1.7.

Which firmware that is bug-free do you recommend for this modem?

Note: I have upgraded and downgraded my modem over 10 times and of course experienced lots of problems that i solved. So basically i know what i am doing, but please mention if the firmware upgrade version that you recommend does an automatic back up.

i think the latest firmware should be the best one because from the older ones they already solved lots of problems
i am sorry that i can't provide you with a link because i am unable to find one
MrClass wroteActually guys, I did a small search and it appears that the v7 firmwares are problematic. You will have to go back to 6.2.T

iam not sure what brand ur talking about but my tgt 585 v7 seems to be the most stable firmware and it was posted on a forum "port forwarding" that thomson is bad with its firmware support.
anyway its not recommended to update ur firmware on a tg585 modem
Thanks a lot everyone.
@MrClass: I used most of the firmware upgrades/downgrades at my own risk many of them are super buggy, and they sometimes reset randomly for example.

I think i will try the firmware that you posted but i will start with 6.2.T because many recommend it.

@ibxoful: I noticed with every(if not most) firmware that port-forwarding doesnt actually work, you know a firmware that does?
I actually managed to find one but it had other problems.
