trophyhunter hello everybody. I know a lot of people face problems in cod black ops which is waiting too long to find a match and then they tell you that they couldn't find any matches.Well i did some research and found out that in cod when finding matches they search for the 70ms ping and less matches first then the 100 then the 150ms so whoever has a 150ms plus cant play it online.p.s dont comment saying that u have 200 ms and play cod because you can only ping websites and ips and pingtest you cant really know whats your latency in-game.Hope this helps :D
The-MMMs i already explained this problem Make a PSN account that is either FR, UK or GER - basically EU And then try playing the game I have an Ogero connection, i never have a problem finding a game - but i always had a 2 bar connection problem the above solved this.
trophyhunter i really dont think that making a EU account would help because it wouldnt improve ping(just a little)
The-MMMs trophyhunter wrotei really dont think that making a EU account would help because it wouldnt improve ping(just a little) it's free ;) try it :)
Siji i tried everything from port forwarding to making an EU account and the only way to get around this is to join someone that is already playing i added lots of people and i join their sessions, i always get one red bar and lots of lag same goes for cod modern warfare 2
MrClass I recently began playing CODMW2 online via AlteriwNet. 3 green bars, no lag, takes 1 minute to find a game, when the game finishes I only wait for the lobby countdown till the next match starts. Hardcore Free for All just kicks a$$!
trophyhunter ok i made a uk account and it also did not work.SO i can say that the ping issue is the cause because in some games like call of duty if they let anyone join including people with high ping then those people will ruin other people's game.by the way does the same thing happen with battlefield ?does anybody that has high ping play it online?please tell me
