i jailbroke my iphone with redsnow and i cant seem to get a signal anymore. I also tried ultrasnow and blackrain on iOS 3.2.2 with no luck.

OK, basically, you're not supposed to do this, but with 3G, you need to upgrade your modem baseband to that of the iPad 1. There is no way you can unlock your 3G past 3.1 and get your service working unless you do that. Don't do it yourself, you might end up pricking your phone.

Dope, check your baseband version, basically you shouldn;t have upgraded without using something like pwnageTool to preserve your baseband!
check cydia->fuzzyBand if you can downgrade then ultrasn0w
i already worked on the phone before reading your posts and letting someone do it,but thank you so much for you answers ,what i did is that i upgraded to ipads baseband with redsnow, then used ultrasnow, and everything worked like a charm, very good signal and a smooth phone.
