What phone to buy after htc desire?

I bought an HTC desire in 2010 and I lost it today. What android phone do you recommend as a replacement? I was pretty satisfied with the desire, so I am looking for some new updated version of it. of course it has to be able to handle the 3.9G that is coming soon to lebanon plus have the features of the desire & more.

im sorry for your loss , i suggest you get galaxy S2 , high specs and amazing , i still don't know how i went to bold 9900 over it

I dont like samsung. had a bad experience with a phone 3 yrs ago, prefer HTC.

I am seeing a consensus for the HTC sensation.
What is the difference between htc sensation and htc sensation XE?
What is the price of HTC sensation? 750$?
I could buy a used Desire (one month used) at 250USD. why would I pay 500 more for htc sensation? is there any real meat behind the specs of sensation that makes it worthwhile?
In case i do decide to buy sensation, I am not going to drive to dahieh to amhaz to buy, where else do they sell it? khoury cell in bhv has it? how much is it?

@fadi68 i recommend you the HTC Sennsation since you don't like Samsung and the Sensation XE is not released yet but you can see a comparison of the two phones here http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=4164&idPhone2=3875 you can find the Sensation brand new for $525 but since you are not coming to Dahieh, you should check elmazad prices before paying $750 for a phone that you can get for a much cheaper price.

Yes the Evo 3D is available here in Lebanon. I called MicroAge since they are the official HTC reseller in Lebanon, they confirmed it's available but would not tell me the price over the phone. I've seen it for $850(comes with shop's warranty) at one place and $780 at another.
