I seriously doubt they're stupid enough to bluff people with this. Not that I'm saying this is totally true, granted there are numerous ways to delay loading different parts of the operating systems but that comes at the the cost of end user experience later on.
There is something fishy but it's just not apparent what it is.
SSD does give an insane boost and it's more than likely that they're using one.
On a similar note, the other day I copied a 30GB folder from a friend's USB 3.0 powered drive to my SSD and i couldn't believe it took less than 4 minutes to complete!
