Hello,
I'm fixing this laptop (QOSMIO F50) since its screen was showing artifacts, I took it apart and noticed the video cable connector that connects the screen, the inverter and the board together was weird, whenever i played with it the artifacts seemed to dissapear, but now the screen has gone all blueish, my question is, I took apart my old HP and found the same video connector, can I use that one in the toshiba or is it risky to use different wires ? I urgently need to finish this by tonight !

UPDATE: Doesn't work ! :/ Even though cables have the same name, both have different numbers apparently classified by their "L version", oh and by the way turns out the wire is called an LCD plug . :)
