Laptop for development

I am looking to get a laptop for development.
As this is for dev, I hesitated about putting it here or in the Programming section
I work on a variety of environments and IDEs:
- Flash CS5.5, FlashBuilder, ... : MAC/PC
- Xcode: Mac
- Eclipse: Mac/PC
- Visual Studio: PC

So I need a machine that can handle both.
Currently I have 2 very good machines (PC and Mac) but I want to go more mobile with a simple desktop mode @ work.
This means, I would plug the laptop to my 27" screen @ work (http://images.apple.com/displays/images/bigpicture.jpg) and add to that a wireless mouse/keyboard and voila I have a desktop system.

Now, I need an advice, would it be better to get a new macbook (i7, 8GB DDR3) and use bootcamp to go to a windows 7 mode, or should I get a pc based laptop and hackint0sh it?

To reduce the number of questions that will be asked, I divide my time between both systems (mac/pc), so I do not have any preference but need both.

I'd go for this without a single doubt in my mind.

Macbooks have the same quality as business laptop products not consumer level products, they last longer, they perform better and most of all you'll get the best of both worlds (OSX, Windows).

I've seen collegues of mine working on windows on macbook pros and simply could no tell the difference in anyway.
I would also add that it even looks far better, perhaps because of the macbook pro's screen?

You can use parallels desktop to seamlessly use both at the same time !
