For someone who can't get a DSL connection, are there any providers that operate like VISP?
I can hardly connect to their internal network these days so it may be time to move on.
They place a wireless access point in your building, connect it via a cable to your computer and you authenticate using a pppoe account. It's very similar to "cable guy" connections.
Or does everyone else give DSL these days? I heard about something called Mobi
http://www.thisiscyberia.com/services/consumer/mobi.asp?menu=2 but 2GB download quota per month is just stupid. My connection should cost the ISP more than 1 cent per month.
