I guess ill buy the nano, i heard it will take so long to finish the order, plus, as an intermediate user, i still not preferring doing manually or designing pcbs...
Also, printing the arduino official PCB isnt a grade idea if the components where unavailable, I also need 328 kb memory...
However, since arduino shields aren't available here, there is no problem buying nano... ( i can still port them, but it will be untidy)
But, i'm confused about RS online, its stating that some items are P.O.A, price on application? Should it be expensive? Else, i prefer waiting for the Arduino UNO, but, i don't think they will ship some. However, i sent them email about this...
Ill be going to Beirut tomorrow.
Sorry for my untidy description...
I'm new to Lebanon (as a permanent living), and a geeky user...
Thank you!
You want me to PM you the cell phone number of the store owner? You'll get a much quicker response. And yes, P.O.A means price on application and it's mostly due to the price differences coming from VAT and shipping prices for different countries.
Actually the board prices are not that expensive: the Arduino Duemilanove is 55$ before VAT, so with VAT (10%) it becomes about 61$. The Arduino UNO is 44$ prior VAT, so with VAT it is around 49$. Even if these prices are from last year, I highly doubt it changed much nowadays.
