1Mbps ... 400MB/hour quota
1Mbps = 3600 Mbps = 450 MBps (theoretically)

Practically you will never full 1Mbps because of various noise on the line, so in theory you should never go above your quota. With no monthly limit, I say it's a pretty good deal :)
guys whats wrong with IDM and its proxy,
filesonic.com is not working since 4 days !!
any IDM user can try this site plz,
Aly wroteNo, if you noticed Cyberia was the first private ISP to release their new packages / prices and promised to deliver on the 1st of october without any solid ground, while other ISPs like Sodetel and Wise didn't, yet they didnt deliver on time.
YES the minister did lie about alot of things like when he did set the 1st of october as a launch date and people starting speedtesting at 12:00 AM and got disappointed, in addition I read today that he said the upgrades will reach all the Lebanese 100% by March 2012 ....
So people who are paying for 2mb instead of old 512k (meaning 8$ per month more btw) could end up in March 2012 with a total loss of 150$ if they pay for 2mb and get 1mb instead...eh esla7 ou taghyir LOL

I'm getting a feeling that you don't like Michel Aoun very much...
Is it just me or is Ogero's connection went down the drain a few minutes ago.. ping always above 200ms. everytime I reset my router I only get British IP(Beyond the network America) and sudden time outs :S

EDIT: guess it was just something temporary, everything back to normal :)

EDIT2: pings still playing between 120-220ms, had a few timeouts again
No it's not just you... Ogero did indeed go down the drain at around 6:00 pm and pings are still higher than usual on all ip ranges.
No internet with several isps in lebanon.
Browsing breaking up not worth even testing pings.
Tested on several isps in several areas:
Ashrafiyeh cyberia corporate account
Sin el fil - wise
Jouniyeh - ogero
Jouniyeh - cable provider

And lost my 3g in jouniyeh to barely working edge.
stable pings between 99-110 on my end... seems like the problem is fixed
Raficoo wrotestable pings between 99-110 on my end... seems like the problem is fixed
I can confirm things are back to normal
One question. I am an ogero subscriber I didn't get the upgrade yet (in Bchamoun) but my ping now is between 190-250 and all others are posting pings between 130-160 will my ping reach such numbers after upgrade or I will always be stuck with those pings?
No internet connection since yesterday afternoon from IDM in dbayeh area, impossile to call IDM support. anybody has an idea about this issue??
Prince WJ wroteNo internet connection since yesterday afternoon from IDM in dbayeh area, impossile to call IDM support. anybody has an idea about this issue??
Note that the disconnection of the Internet connection we experienced is due to a problem in the International circuit which affected all Internet providers in Lebanon.

Limited connectivity is back now due to the fact that both Ogero & IDM are working on their backup Backbone.

hey guys,

I am a new IDM user my account got activated this month...

1 - I configured the modem, installed my filters on all phones (correctly)
I managed to have an internet connection but with some noise on the phone line... I called them they said I've got some issues in my home wiring ! is this the only reason? I tried changing filters, removing my phones , changing plugs and still the same...

2 - in addition my connection since 9/11 is unstable and there are regular disconnections especially at night ! and the speed drops to like 0.05 Mbps (speedtest.net) and since yesterday till now i had a connection for nearly 3 to 4 hours in the whole 24 hours ... (broadband led is blinking green (thomson modem))

my question can anybody help me with number 1? and could number 1 cause the problems am facing in 2?

Note: IDM support said you've got "daghet 3ala khattak bl leil" are they kidding me!!? shu khass?! + we didnt even make or receive 1 phone call!!

appreciate your help :)
try connecting the modem directly to the cable that comes from the street, if the internet is working then the problem is from the street to your house, if it doesnt work the problem is coming from the road to Ogero or your central
how can i connect it to the line coming from the street? and i get connection ! especially in the morning even though there is noise on the phone line ! however the connection goes down sometimes especially at night or the speed goes down! and when i called them they said "fee daghet 3ala khattak" ma3 innu i didnt make any phone call :\ the line was idle ...!! Thanks :)
well the cable that comes from the street or from your buildings telephone right to your house and goes to the first splitter or whatever you are using, disconnect it and connect it to your modem. but noise on the line does indeed screw things up A LOT! Once I had to change the wiring going from the street to my house because of a lot of noise and poor internet connection. we fixed the noise issue and ended up with a much better internet connection.

try it. or if you know any Ogero technician willing to check/replace the wiring that would be good.
