They only specified the 4mb plans with a * , so yeah like i told you gds 4mb = open speed ,non gds co can give the 50,100,120,200 at full speeds
Could you post a link and check this oneSilentcontrol wroteIf you are not on gds you cant get os plans read the fine print on their pageAhmad Toutounji wroteThis only applies to 4mb plans which max is 70gb so i really don't care for gdsSilentcontrol wrote Remember to tell them you want to be on gds co

* Open Speed applies for lines installed on GDS network
Look for the above sentence under notes
on Cyberia it's the other way around , it's the 4mb plans with this note, seems idm is mistaken because it doesn't make any senseSilentcontrol wroteCould you post a link and check this oneSilentcontrol wroteIf you are not on gds you cant get os plans read the fine print on their pageAhmad Toutounji wrote This only applies to 4mb plans which max is 70gb so i really don't care for gds

Hi Ahmad.Ahmad Toutounji wroteGuys any other "heavy" downloader, yes that's what "isps" call us ppl who only need 250-300gb per month!! Want to move to cyberia or idm for its unlimited night only?
Just to provide you with a heads up in case you intend to switch to IDM/Cyberia.
I was capped at 11Mbps for the open speed.
I'm ertain you saw on twitter some people reaching 15+ Mbps but those were ogero customers. Few if not any ISP users has uploaded a speed test with significant speeds.
Now I can't get over the fact that in the center of Beirut/Hamra i keep hearing "the co are not yet installed" and there is no exact date for it (density of population here makes the internet terribly unstable during the day).
Unlimited night traffic is appealing, but from what im getting on my upload/download speed test, you're going to get disappointed if you make the switch : specially if you intend to game online or live stream (ping/latency are far better with OGERO).
The only thing keeping me from switching TODAY is my average 200-300 gb /month downloads.
However, from what i'm seeing on twitter as for certain speed tests from ogero customers.... they're making it harder to stick with ISP despite not having any unlimited night traffic.
N.B. Asked for a vdsl feasibility today from Ogero to see how much IDM are honest about my max speed my line can handle
I called IDM support about the "only GDS" note. He told me they mean that to upgrade to open speed, Ogero as DSP is requiring a fee from IDM while GDS are doing it for free. Thus IDM subscribers on ogero are required to submit an application and pay the fee (the support guy didnt know how much is it) to be upgraded to open speed.
Still no update from Sodetel, wow.
Les gens chics sont toujours en retard.
It doesn't make sense, we are the 28th of the month, if we have to pay something or to make new paperwork they should have told us already, my source at Cyberia told me there are no fees nor papers to do, just choose your plan online and payhishjwnz wroteI called IDM support about the "only GDS" note. This probably applies to the month starting 1st of September. For the first month your new plan will depend on the one you had in the older packages. i think it's the same case for ogero users (automatic switch to equivalent plan unless you submit a request for another one). In IDM's case that is only applicable in the sense that you chose the quota depending on the card u recharge but cannot chose the package for the first month (ie change to open speed or unlimited packages). I might be mistaken anyway, but that's what i understood from my discussion with IDM's tech support guy.infiniteloop wroteIt doesn't make sense, we are the 28th of the month, if we have to pay something or to make new paperwork they should have told us already, my source at Cyberia told me there are no fees nor papers to do, just choose your plan online and payhishjwnz wroteI called IDM support about the "only GDS" note. It's possible and it makes sense that Ogero are making some aspects easier for their own customers during this upgrade phase.
18. How much does it cost to change speed?infiniteloop wroteIt doesn't make sense, we are the 28th of the month, if we have to pay something or to make new paperwork they should have told us already, my source at Cyberia told me there are no fees nor papers to do, just choose your plan online and payhishjwnz wroteI called IDM support about the "only GDS" note. As of the 1st of August, all change speed requests will be charged $2 per request. You will need to request a change speed only when switching from a FixedSpeed plan to an OpenSpeed plan or vice versa, otherwise you can move freely among FixedSpeed plans or OpenSpeed plans depending on your current account type; i.e. a FixedSpeed customer can choose / renew with any available FixedSpeed plan and an OpenSpeed plan can choose / renew with any available OpenSpeed plan
max rate dropped to 15800 this morning...
For Cyberia/IDM, if GDS is your DSP, all capped plans are open speed, and you can choose, for free, any of the plans to be active as of 1st of August.infiniteloop wroteIt doesn't make sense, we are the 28th of the month, if we have to pay something or to make new paperwork they should have told us already, my source at Cyberia told me there are no fees nor papers to do, just choose your plan online and payhishjwnz wroteI called IDM support about the "only GDS" note. it seems there is no free night !
then only IDM and Cyberia have free night for all speeds and terranet has it only for the 4 Mb 100 GB plan .
if this is true im going to switch to idm
