Hassan wrote@Ahmad Toutounji have you gotten any positive feedback on twitter from Nivine? I have just seen your tweet and I have the same issue as yours (plan switch) but no one has replied to me yet.
Yes an employee called diana or something called me 30 minutes ago saying that they are upgrading to the requested plans by a list(order of date when you called maybe)
Hmm interesting...I wonder where I would be on that list as I kinda did 2 (perhaps redundant) processes. First, a couple of weeks ago, I switched plans by calling 1515 and sending ID photos by Whatsapp. But when I called for VDSL a week after, they asked me to go to the CO where they processed my papers ( I signed on 3 papers which show the plan I'm being switched to) and asked me to pay the stamps fees (2000 L.L).

Anyways, thanks for your clarification.
Anybody know when private ISPs will release their new packages?

also my bandwith settings in the router are upgraded to 4Mb, so when I do a speed test it hits around 3.9Mb
but when I download, the speed is still the same at 200kb/s
I am subscribed with wise on 2Mb unlimited package

Ahmad Toutounji wrote well then the crc is caused by high noise, maybe you are far from the co and they are opening the speed way too much you can tell them to lower your speed a little because you have errors
I noticed something, line attenuation changes between 1 and 0.5 everytime i restart the router, causing the max rate to go below the speed of 4Mbps I'm getting, so I have a Data rate > Max rate and getting too much CRC
Enable sra on the modem it should fix this problem
It's already Enabled along with the bit swap setting(I'm syncing on G.DMT), I really don't want to go back to the old speed, but the CRC is just crazy, giving me >80% loss in cs go preventing me from playing or even browsing the net, why does restarting the modem have any impact on the line attenuation?
Silly me!
My downloads were limited to 660kb/s because my torrent client download speed was limited to 660kb/s, I set it to 2500 and now I can reach 1.8mb/s which is amazing compared to the 440kb/s I had before
@jazzzar I'm having a similar problem with the CRC and SNR margin fluctuating.
I called support multiple times. First they fixed my downstream SNR to 12dB instead of 6dB. I lost 2Mbps and it should have gotten more stable, but no. Now I'm waiting for Sodetel's outdoor team to come and check things out.

Try with your ISP ?

I'm an Ogero user and CRC problem is getting more and more frustrating, it's going up like crazy, I got more than 50.000 CRC in downstream in less than 2 hours, can't play online games due to too much loss and cannot surf the web fast too, I don't know what to do actually!
If you just want to game while you find a fix, sync on G.lite.

Thanks for the tip, but how can we fix this problem? any Idea about limiting my speed to 3Mbps without calling ogero?
Why don't you call them ? You can also try contacting them by email.

I will contact someone now, and an Update, tried syncing on G.lite, still got lots of CRC, no bueno

EDIT : any way I can know if there's electrical interference? a guy from ogero told me that, how close power cable should be in order to get noise? In other way, how far should it be for me to have no CRC?
G.lite syncs at 1.5Mbps so at this point I doubt limiting your rate to 3Mbps will solve the problem. You should definitely have someone from Ogero come and check things out.

Not sure about your electricity questions.
Anybody experiencing errors and decrease in upload SN Margin ? Mazraa CO, OGERO

Before this I used to get around 33db upload SN Margin.

Ogero is doing cable maintenance across the country, my down max rate was 13mb for a whole week, but now it is 15mb,bir hassan co

sitting on 12163 CRC downstream and 54 CRC upstream, that is happening since yesterday, getting HUGE amounts of CRC and it's very frustrating

EDIT : adnan, syncing on G.lite gave me more than 1.5Mbps, weird enough huh? I don't know what's happening now, don't feel like calling 1515 and waiting 15 minutes to talk to someone who always says "mafi 3ndak mshkle"!
Hi guys, I switched to Ogero in May. I am having a problem with my modem, I have to turn it off/on throughout the day because I am losing connectivity. Is anyone else having this problem ? Anyone can help me identify the issue, is it from the modem or my line ?
I have the black technicolor modem.
Thanks.
Ok, I'm so done with that problem and I need to ask 2 questions(maybe dumb), hope some experts here have answers...
First one :

That's the copper wire cable in my house, is that thing in the picture considered bad? I mean does that extra length have any influence on the quality of the DSL connection, attenuation maybe?
Second one :

See that cable coming from bottom right corner? that's the copper wire cable coming from my house, it ends at the top of that wooden pole, and those large cables are electricity cables, is it in proximity of electrical interference? can that actually cause noise and result in high amount of CRC?
please keep in mind I was getting 0 CRC all the time before my line got upgraded to 4Mbps from 1Mbps
Has anybody (subscribed with ogero) got the plan upgrade he requested ?( Not the auto-upgrade done for everybody without requesting it) ?
Techlover wroteHas anybody (subscribed with ogero) got the plan upgrade he requested ?( Not the auto-upgrade done for everybody without requesting it) ?
I personally haven't (I requested an upgrade from 2 Mbps to open speed) and I highly doubt that anybody else did as these are expected to be implemented starting August 1st.

Yes same here in Mazraa but it is like since last week... But I suffered from a decrease in SNR downstream
