weird why we didn't hear idm announcing the plans if they upgraded some?
Can you guys try to switch to VDSL2 or VDSL if your router supports?kfc wrotei can confirm that some IDM users have been upgraded to open speed tonight!!
Theoritically, if you have open speed, and you are connected through VDSL2, you could get 200mbps, which is 4 times faster than what fiber optic will offer (50mbps), and almost at the same price but with 100GB less to consume. Add free night traffic on top of that and you got the perfect package if you live 800m or less to a cabinet! =D

Currently getting around 100 ping on BF1 to EU servers. Any idea if my line can handle turning off interleaving (fast-track) and what ping I can expect?

My friend was 4 Mb/s now he is arround 12 Mb/s (he is close to CO)
another friend was 2 Mb/s from 2 weeks ago his speed was lifted from 2 to 6 couple days then back to 2 again

Kriedieh responding on twitter as to when the upgrade will happen: "it will be automatic. Beginning August."
Sent an email to thepeople@ogero.gov.lb to turn off interleaving and got this reply:
"Please refer to our nearest point of sales in order to assist you in your request."
Sent an email to Mr. Nader and he immediately replied with "Done".
Getting 75 ping on BF1 now instead of the usual 100. Will keep you guys posted regarding the stability of the connection.

I just called IDM support and they told me that they are just unleashing speeds temporarily for testing purposes. the upgrade will not become permanent until the 1st of August
Just called Ogero (1515 then 1 then 0) and asked to switch to the new plans for next month. She started citing all the new plans that she can transfer me to, which are: 4mb 40gb, 2 mb unlimited, 4mb unlimited, open speed 100gb, and 6-8mb (forgot its capacity). I asked for the Open Speed 200gb, and she told me it isn't available :/

you want the latest upgrade update, here it is: i just hung up with 1515-1-0, the guy was very helpful, i asked to upgrade both my accounts to 200gb open speed, he processed the requests and told me to send my id and legal papers (company) to a whatsapp number for processing. I then asked about VDSL, he said the processing fee is LL134000/line and the monthly charge 100,000LL/month. he filed the application for me and asked me to visit a POS and request the service as they will have all the details needed. objectively, I never regretted the day I switched my IDM and Sodetel accounts to Ogero.
