Traffic Compressor Software

Toonel.net

Traffic con. reducer.

What do you think guys?

Crossplatform, worked on Ubuntu... And hell yeah, reduced internet consumption by 40 percent here!

It uses a proxy, i think from germany which might not be a good idea...

Includes system wise picture compression... Uses java.

Bit slow, but not bad for heavy browsers... :D

Still no VPN based traffic usage reducer... Any suggestions? (like Onavo Extend for Android)

Re: Traffic Compressor Software

Doesn't that cause quality loss ? I already use Opera Turbo http://www.opera.com/browser/turbo/ from time to time when my connection feels slow, so what about enabling it "forever", will I take the same result as the Tcompressor ?

You can't lose size without quality except different implementation...

Opera Turbo only gets media uncomplete. No html nor elements compression...

Re: Traffic Compressor Software

I was excited at that point since I run Xubuntu, but it doesn't seem to work with me (I use Wine)

At first during the installation I got an error, then skipped it and they asked me to create an account, I did and after I entered my Username and Password I got a second error saying that the installation is corrupted. I'm sorry not to provide the first error since I skipped it, anyhow if it's needed I will redo the installation.

Help ?
