Can anyone confirm Pings from Ogero are really low and stable ?!

Used to be this way, but I don't think it's the case anymore. I think Sodetel has a "gaming" plan and it is better.

Left Sodetel back in June, applied with Wise for 2 Mbps, it took 3 months :( but it was worth the wait :)

Ping from 9AM to 6 PM = 108 ms

Ping from 6PM to 7AM = 410 ms

Speeds are always the same = 240 kbs (My plan = 2Mbps)

Everything is perfect here, except sometimes YouTube tends to stream at about 1 Mbps. I dont know if i am under FUP. It stays like this for days then the problem gets solved automatically.

Around 25% request timed out after 8pm till like 2am for the last few days... Cyberia ADSL 2mbps

Internet kinda getting crappy these days...

@Astex I got my internet from Takch but it's pretty..average and the ping is horrible. I pay 40$ per month wbu? (btw the ping in speedtest results are pretty unreliable)

for me their service is very good, my download speed sometimes tops @ 1.5 MB/s and upload @ 500 KB/s. I pay 100$. The only thing that I hate is that they throttle P2P traffic (torrents are only allowed for 10 hours a day). The speed is slower at night but it's still good for streaming and browsing.

Quick question guys: i was recently upgraded to 4 mbps (3 days ago) as the CO im connected to could now allow such a speed. im with IDM and im fairly happy with it. i havent compared other isps to note which is better in my area. My pings on speedtest.net were stable at 200 ms (computer not mobile app), however, after my upgrade the ping on speedtest.net is now 400+ ms all day long. i called idm and they said im not on a satellite connection. i also tried different servers but to no avail. pingtest.net gives me around 157 ms and ping to google on command prompt gives me 118 ms which is the same as what my friend got on ogero. Does anyone have any idea why? speedtest may be  unreliable but it should always give a "fixed unreliable number" not one that changes drastically after upgrade.

the best ping test is the one you do from cmd, so 118 ms is not bad to google.com. Don't worry about speedtest.net if you want try choosing a server in france and when the test finishes click test again and the second test should give you a good number since when the first ping test starts the website will still be downloading data thats why you will have high ping.

consistently getting such pings all day long. It's puzzling because speedtest used to give me 200 ms pings.

and btw, not really reaching 4 mbps..
