Re: Feedback for VISP

you need 1000 v-points for one month of real IP. 1000 v-points cost 10 dollars if you buy them directly from VISP.
I pay for them by bank transfer because I have no reseller. if you have a reseller, he/she should be able to handle that for you.

Re: Feedback for VISP

torrents will work well also at deep night at normal account, we have automatic procedure - when bandwidth available, we remove all qos priorities (e.g. torrents are not throttled).

Re: Feedback for VISP

My torrent reaches max 30Kb/s anytime never got past this speed, I don't have real ip, I don't abuse bandwidth , another question is what's the 10mbps boost? Not buyable with vpoints.
Thanks guys !

Re: Feedback for VISP

Figured it out, DNS issue can access google with IP address.
Having cut offs every minute for 20 seconds.
Edit everything back to normal, except my game wouldn't connect now. It's either DNS or my game. What the hell...from 5 pm.

Same issue again, can't connect to game server. Mobile me mail very slow.
Edit: it let me in, ping is 8-45 seconds
Guys I think ISP is blocking servers based on consumption. This is not fair at all, we already have throttled torrents, I wouldn't call this internet. Correct me if I'm wrong and bear with me.
Thanks :)

Re: Feedback for VISP

If it wasn't a 5pm to 2 am issue, I would have thought it's from my part.
Trace route is really fine.

Tracing route to eu3-wgnwn-eu.worldoftanks.eu [185.12.242.100] over a maximum of 20 hops\
\
 1 22ms 13ms 24ms 172.16.1.1\
 2 21ms 21ms 22ms 10.0.253.1\
 3 18ms 28ms 31ms 10.0.253.34\
 4 * * * Request timed out.\
 5 * * * Request timed out.\
 6 181ms 163ms 133ms 93.115.89.141\
 7 164ms 131ms 119ms 109.163.238.197\
 8 116ms 122ms 123ms 109.163.237.21\
 9 114ms 109ms 124ms 37.221.169.62\
10 141ms 127ms 126ms 195.69.146.152\
11 123ms 121ms 127ms 185.12.242.100\
\
Trace complete.

Servers won't let me in, if I'm in by luck, first 3 minutes good ping then it goes to 8-20seconds ping...

anyone on visp is getting a 503 error on neowin.net? it opens fine on web-sniffer.bet and on web proxies.

Edit: nevermind. it's neowin's fault. their site keeps going up and down randomly.

Occasionally. really random.
I am almost done with online games anyway. reached top 30 ranking in a game I have been playing for years and top 20 in melee skills.

it is still playable at Lebanese connection but in group fights traffic goes high (over 7 kilobytes per second and many packets per second) and I get laggy which isn't fun.

Plus most of my friends moved to elder scrolls online.

Yes but I'm facing something serious. Everyday from 2 pm my game and icloud mail magically stop, I'm sure more stuff are blocked.
Ports are blocked ?
Oh and talking about mmos they are fun but eventually they will get ruined by some stupid update, pay2 win applied :)

Re: Feedback for VISP

frankly i noticed some speed boosts, up to 220kB/s from usual non direct links when downloading videos from dropbox and upload speed is 220kB/s also, i was shocked to upload a 300mb video in couple of tens of minutes. but again, it is not stable.
good news it is 5 pm pings are still good unlike the past week.
