My line has been upgraded.
New stats:
Speed (down/up): 4095 Kbps/1023 Kbps
SNR Margin (Downstream/Upstream): 22.1 dB/8.5 dB
Attenuation (Downstream/Upstream): 37.8 dB/20.9 dB
Old stats:
Speed (down/up): 2046 Kbps/510 Kbps
SNR Margin (Downstream/Upstream): 29.3 dB/26.0 dB
Attenuation (Downstream/Upstream): 37.7 dB/20.9 dB
today my modem is synching ay 8Mbps as i'm on open speed now.
But unfortunately the connection is not holding 5seconds.
Support to Terranet not working.Line error i think.
My modem is an old Thomson so i might have to change it i guess.
Any recommendation on a cheap fast modem?
So I was talking to a support guy on the phone asking why my speeds are shit at night (3-4Mbps, i should be getting 12) and the guy insisted that my snr was the issue (my snr is 11 btw, with no crc errors whatsoever) so I kept telling him and trying to explain however he would not understand and started talking in a very disrespectful tone. And in the end he hung up on me! Just like that!
I know the guy's name and Im wondering if I should call again and tell management.
That's terranet customer support for you.

Obviously, call them and report that moron. I'd even switch ISPs if someone does that to me.
they don't have enough bandwidth
i wonder if private isps can continue this way
connected at 8Mbps after changing my modem and speedtest is getting 7Mbps but....try it ti something international other than terra server and i get 0.35Mbps
what a joke

Anyone having crazy packet loss with terranet? It's unbearable!
Pinging the gateway I see in my modem, I get 0% packet loss, so it's not between me and them. Pinging anything else, 8.8.8.8 or my servers in Germany and France, I get a consistent 22% packet loss!
Anyone else getting this?

What modem did you get and did it solve your synching and disconnecting problems

I'm subscribed to the Open Speed package but my connection is getting throttled, is anyone else having the same issue?
It is being constantly throttled, not just at specific times.
Thinking of switching from Sodetel 2Mbps unlimited to another ISP with Open speed plan, do you recommend Terra net ?

No synching problems whatsoever after changing my old modem...just got more speed.
But the usual problem with terranet is getting 8Mbps to their server but 1Mbps to the outside world, they are not upgrading their bandwidth.
Switched to ogero, will tell you the results in a week (hopefully)
And my modem is with them to program.
Don't know why thay just don't give us the L number and password.

Hello LebGeekers,
My wifi connection at home becomes limited several times during the day. That yellow exclamation point pops up near the signal bar, and the webpage stop loading.
I always have to to reset the modem router in order for it to run again.
What could be causing this problem?
Could it be a problem with the Ogero centrale in the area I live in ?
Or is it an error from the modem machine ?
My internet provider is TerraNet.
Thank you in advance.
It happens to me all the time too.
However it's really hard to tell why, it could be any of these things you listed.
Try connecting to your router with a cable, does it help?
If I connect the cable of the modem directly to my PC, it works just fine.
I also noticed that when the connection becomes limited, it goes back to normal on its own in an hour or so. But if I want it back instantly, I reset the modem.
How can I know if I need a firmware update for my modem?
All devices at my home experience limited connection throughout the day: my laptop, my parents' s smartphones, and mine.
Sometimes when the electricity goes off and the power switches to UPS u get a temporary disconnection for a couple of minutes or till u manually disconnect and reconnect the modem. This happens when the UPS has a low switching rate. Could this be the case with you?
I have a UPS connected to my modem but the limited connection doesn't occur when the electricity is cut.
It usually happens at specific times during the day. For example, almost every day at around 11 pm, it suddenly becomes limited, while the electricity is running fine.
Is DNS a possible issue as well?

Since you said that connecting the pc to modem directly works fine this means that your problem may be local. You can do an exta check to narrow things down. When you get the yellow exclamation point try accessing the modem's webpage through your browser. If you are unable to reach the page this means that your issue is local and you may need to modify your modem's configurations. If you are able to reach your modem's webpage then further investigations need to be done...
Wow they look so confident with their up to 300 Mbps speed.

Their key is the 2 words "Up To"
Anyone have any feedback regarding TerraNet's residential Microwave? I was offered 12mb down, 12 up, with unlimited quota for $180 a month. Just curious about the ping to EU. Would appreciate any feedback on this.

Gimme a url/ip and i'll test it.
Their is FUP on the microwave afaik, so it's not really unlimited.
